Andrea has great suggestions for any lover of the outdoors. “Head to the surrounding areas (around OKC) for camping, hiking, and sometimes fishing and boating.” A few options she likes are: Lake Thunderbird, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park in Hinton, as well as Turner Falls and Arbuckle Wilderness in Davis.
Kaci says, “My favorite activity is the Riversport Adventures! Here you can surf, raft, kayak, tube, and much more!”
Diane says there are many fun things to do in Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas like “visiting Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountains, attending sporting events at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, and visiting the museums in Tulsa.”
Lacy’s only been in Oklahoma City for a short while but has enjoyed the ballet science museum, zoo, and other activities like Topgolf and laser tag at the Main Event with her family. “It’s been a wild year and a half but we’ve been able to get out and have fun as a family!”
